Join the HWNT Legacy
The Hispanic Women’s Network of Texas is a non-profit statewide organization established in 1986. HWNT promotes the advancement of women in public, corporate, and civic life through education and personal and professional development. HWNT and our 10 chapters unite to celebrate the positive image and values of our Hispanic heritage and empower women across the great State of Texas.
" I am a firm believer that education and mentorship paves your way to success. Throughout my time with HWNT, I have met many incredible women throughout the great state of Texas who have become dear friends and role modes. I encourage all women to join our organization and make a difference in the lives of future Latina Leaders."

"Thank you all for your time and energy into this program. It was the best thing that has happened to me, especially being first-generation. This program is the program I dreamed of when I first started my college process. From the bottom of my heart thank y’all for everything y’all do."

“This program has seriously benefitted me and I could not have been more thankful to have had the opportunity to be here. I would love to get involved in the Latinas in Progress program even after being in the actual process. Giving back to my community is extremely important and I would love to be a part of the volunteer community. Once again, thank you.”

"THE PATH TOWARD COLLEGE IS COMPLEX AND UNIQUE FOR EVERY INDIVIDUAL. ARGUABLY, THE MOST IMPORTANT FACTOR FOR SUCCESS ON THIS JOURNEY IS BUILDING A STRONG NETWORK OF SUPPORT. I FOUND THIS IN MY FRIENDS, FAMILY, AND THE LIP COMMUNITY. THEY SUPPORTED MY DREAMS AND GOALS. I WOULD NOT BE HERE WITHOUT THE INCREDIBLE ENCOURAGEMENT FROM MY MANY LIP MENTORS AND PEERS. MY ADVICE IS TO ASK FOR GUIDANCE WHEN YOU NEED IT AND BUILD RELATIONSHIPS WITH THOSE AROUND YOU."
