Dora is the former Executive Director of Shields for Kids and the former Immediate Past-Chair of the Hispanic Women’s Network of Texas (HWNT). Dora has volunteered with HWNT since 2006 and has held several leadership roles at both the local and state level, including Vice-Chair of Membership and Board Chair.  Her passion aligns with HWNT’s mission to promote the advancement of Latina women in public, corporate and civic life via education, personal and professional development.  With over 18 years in the banking and small business industry, Dora's career relationships and partnerships have been vital to her success in both the corporate and non-profit sector.
Dora prides herself as being a volunteer at heart.  Her family had never understood the word "volunteer" until later in life since they were raised that giving back, was part of life and what was expected of them, even if they didn't have a lot to give.  Dora's attributes her young voluntarism to her role-model and best friend, her mother!  As Dora stood by her side, volunteering at a very young age, now her mother stands by her side, as she does her part of empowering Latina women!
When Dora isn't spending time with her family of friends, you can find her at the gym.  Her fit lifestyle helps her be a mom-on-the-go with her very active daughter, Ashley Campos and her three chihuahuas, Sandi, Tikka and Nica!
