Irma
Burr presents ZUMBA at HWNT October 14, 2009 meeting

Women's Network of Texas RGV
Chapter presents Irma Burr.
The
Hispanic Women’s Network of Texas RGV Chapter will have a noon luncheon
meeting Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2009, at the McAllen Chamber of Commerce.
Irma Burr, yoga and zumba instructor will be
the guest speaker.
Irma
Burr, resident artist at McAllen Creative Incubator, is a motivational
educator consultant and yoga, zumba instructor. She is a member of the
National Hispanic Professional Organization and PEACE global
organization.
Ms.
Burr will be conducting a presentation on Zumba at the HWNT luncheon.
Zumba is a new rage that fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy to
follow moves to create a dynamic fitness program.
Zumba
routines feature interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms
and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt your body while
burning fat. As of July 2009, Zumba is being taught at over 40,000
locations in seventy-five countries, and has changed the lives of
millions of people worldwide.
The
Hispanic Women’s Network of Texas is a statewide organization of
individuals from diverse backgrounds who are committed to promoting the
participation of women in public, corporate and civic life.
It
seeks to advance the educational, cultural, social, legal, and economic
well being of women through a broader awareness of their role in
society, business and the family.
HWNT
is a nonprofit organization that welcomes into its membership anyone
who is supportive of its purposes and who cooperates in carrying out
its programs of education and activities. The
affairs of
the Network are managed by a board of directors consisting of
representatives from seven chapters throughout the state of Texas. The
RGV Chapter meets at noon every second Wednesday of the month at the
McAllen Chamber of Commerce.

Deadline to register is noon Tuesday before
the meeting.

The Hispanic
Women's Network of Texas, Rio
Grande Valley Chapter
will hold their monthly meeting on Wednesday,
October 14, 2009, at the
McAllen Chamber of Commerce (1200 Ash Street) at 12:00 (NOON).
HWNT membership consist of professional
business women, of these
65 to 70 % are business owners with a common goal and that
is mentor
and to educate the entire membership.
The Hispanic
Women's Network invites anyone who is interested in
growing their business and networking to attend the luncheon meeting.

and meet women from diverse backgrounds who are committed to promoting
the participation of women in public, corporate and civic life.

Grande Chapter meets at noon every second Wednesday of the month at The
