The Houston Board met with our "action committees" on March 29th to set in motion our platform and strategies to benefit the Houston Community.

We have set our focus and energy on the top issues that face the Houston Community. Jobs, HealthCare and Education.

HWNT Houston introduced you to our three action committees.

Education Series
An outreach to young Latina's leading them through a series of sessions to build life skills focused on college entry and completion.

Health & Wellness Series
An engaging series of mental and physical wellness events that support healthcare education and access to Houston resources.

Professional Development Series
A platform of developmental sessions focused on career progression, communication, negotiating and leadership skills.

By the year 2020 - HWNT Houston will have over 100 college graduates through our Educational Series program, have educated over 1,000 lives with our Health & Wellness Series and evolve our Professional Development series into a Development and Leadership Series.
